Where can I go to see street art, you ask? I think I can safely say that great street art is all around you, in just about every suburb of Melbourne. But to see some of the more well known artists and iconic pieces, check out the main laneways in the city centre, including Union Lane, Croft Alley, Hosier Lane, ACDC Lane, and Rutledge Lane.
Not far from the main city centre, venture to Rose Street (the best spot is on the corner of Brunswick St and Rose St). All around this location you'll find images of street art. There is also a great little cafe within the Rose Street Market called 'Young Bloods', where Christian will be sure to serve you up a great latte. Don't forget to check out the Rose Street carpark across the road, a massive paint up by some graffiti legends (you'll get some great pics for the album!) Head from here to the Brunswick Street Gallery on the corner of Argyle Street and Brunswick Street. Right behind the Gallery you'll find a beautiful image painted by Adnate: don't miss this amazing piece!
If there's still some fuel in the tank, head down to the corner of Gertrude Street and Smith Street and check out the lane running behind all the Smith Street shops. This goes for a few blocks so its good walk, but there is such a variety of images to photograph and you won't be sorry!
The best thing about street art is that it's always fresh, with new pieces popping up all the time. Feel free to contact us - we'd love to hear what your favourite piece is or which artist blows your mind.

I am a mum to two beautiful girls and have always been passionate about art - a photographer and closet painter! I love my local backyard, so it made sense to develop
